Dri-Eaz joins forces with Studebaker, AirPath
New and Improved AirPath Direct Flow Carpet Dryer.

BURLINGTON, Washington - December 11, 2006 - Dri-Eaz recently signed an agreement with Studebaker Enterprises to acquire the patent rights and begin supplying the AirPath Direct Flow Carpet Dryer. Keith and Roy Studebaker have designed a new AirPath and Dri-Eaz will begin manufacturing this improved AirPath design for a February 2007 market release.

"This partnership means that Dri-Eaz and Studebaker can continue to work together on innovative projects in the future to provide the carpet cleaning and water damage restoration markets with new technologies" said Bill Bruders, president of Dri-Eaz.

Studebaker's original AirPath successfully changed the way carpets dried after cleaning, shortening the drying time dramatically. Thanks to the AirPath's 360° directed air flow, carpets are truly dry before the truck is even ready to leave the carpet cleaning job. Studebaker's AirPath claim to fame is you can "measure drying time in minutes not hours." That's because the AirPath creates an aggressive airflow in combination with the patented 360° air stream.

The new AirPath design will be lighter, more durable and available at a lower price than the previous model. It's specially designed to draw warmer, drier air from above and blow it down and across the entire surface of the affected carpet. This aggressive airflow propels a high volume of air directly over the carpet surface greatly speeding the effects of drying. The versatile design will dry in all directions when placed in the center of a room, rapidly reducing moisture content in the carpet.
