Dri-Eaz Innovates 360° Maneuverable Extractor - The Rover HVE
The industry's best performing extraction tool handles more than just tight turns.

BURLINGTON, Washington - January 23, 2007 - The new 360° maneuverable Rover High-Volume Extractor (HVE) is changing the way restorers think about extraction. Co-engineered by Dri-Eaz in an exclusive partnership with US Products, the new tool maximizes extraction on all types of carpets, even low pile and commercial where previous mechanical tools weren't effective.

The Rover's patent pending head design with a custom GreenGlide achieves a strong vacuum seal without requiring compression. resulting in a highly efficient extraction no matter what the carpet type. A two-speed switch provides the control needed for consistent and optimal extraction.

The joystick-controlled dual drive motors are also a first for the restorative drying industry. The joystick allows users to precisely maneuver around the sharpest corners with ease. "With the new Rover jobs will get done faster as techs won't have to get off and on the unit to help steer it. Customers who have done advance testing of the Rover are excited about how it's going to make thorough extraction so much easier to achieve," said Bill Bruders, President of Dri-Eaz.

The unit's rotomolded deck housing shields against damaging walls, woodwork and tack strip, saving time on repairs. Other customer-driven features include a clear take-up tube to monitor progress and an LED light to illuminate the floor in darker environments.

To make it easy for restorers to transport to and from the job, the Rover's ergonomic handle folds down, locking into place for vertical storage, and integrated transport wheels make moving the unit easy. Dri-Eaz designed the Rover with a sturdy stainless steel frame, which is corrosion-resistant and built for years of use.
