DrizAir LGR 2000 really takes off
Dri-Eaz celebrates successful product launch

BURLINGTON, Washington - July 3, 2003 - The new DrizAir LGR 2000 dehumidifier has proven to be a big hit with water damage restoration contractors. Dri-Eaz launched the new LGR 2000 in February with a multi-level promotional campaign that helped ignite initial sales of the unit. According to John Ormsby, Marketing Manager for Dri-Eaz, "It's the largest and most successful launch in our company's history."

Multiple levels of promotion
The promotional campaign began with a "Try Before You Buy" offer that allowed potential customers to trial the LGR 2000 for free on an actual water damage job. As a thank you for trying the unit, participating customers received a free case of Milgo Plus Portion Packs.

Dri-Eaz also offered an incentive for purchasing the LGR 2000 in the form of "Buy 3 Get DriZone Free." This offer gave purchasing customers a free registration to the Dri-Eaz Applied Structural Drying (ASD) School with the purchase of three DrizAir LGR 2000s.

Confidence in the LGR 2000
"We knew that if we put the LGR 2000 into restorers' hands, its powerful and consistent performance would sell itself," said Ormsby. "The DriZone course was a good complement. It encourages continuing education and gives the restorer a chance to learn more about how to maximize equipment performance."

Overwhelming response
Dri-Eaz reports that so many people took advantage of the "Buy 3 Get DriZone Free" promotion they will need to add additional ASD classes. This would expand its twice-a-month schedule to three classes a month.
