Take a Fresh Look at Dri-Eaz' New Restorative Drying Courses
BURLINGTON, Washington - February 1, 2007 - The Dri-Eaz education team recently heard customers' requests for more class options and responded with brand new courses. The new courses reflect more than a revision or simple name change. Instead Dri-Eaz has completely revamped their old education programs to create new classes packed with fresh and exciting information that more closely follows industry standards and the wants and needs of customers.
The new Restorative Drying 201 (Applied Structural Drying or ASD) uses a completely new workbook that mirrors Dri-Eaz' New Guide to Restorative Drying. The workbook now uses colorful images and a more information-packed format adding greater value overall to the course than ever before. The scope of the class is more clearly defined - no repeat information from one course to the next - and time is spent on current industry challenges. The 201 course is more interactive and hands-on now and is designed both for those who have and haven't taken the ASD course previously. Those who have attended a previous ASD class will appreciate the fresh perspective and new approach while keeping in line with emerging industry standards.
One of the primary objectives of the Restorative Drying 201 course is to address a pressing industry need: understanding how to properly prepare documented reports. The new 201 course answers this need - it implements a documentation process that helps customers decrease the time required for accurate reporting so they can get paid faster.
In addition to this revamped 201 program, Dri-Eaz is offering a unique schedule of classes tailored specifically to restoration contractors' needs. The new calendar includes bonus classes for expanding participants' horizons. The 201 course now runs Monday through Thursday with Friday as a bonus day. Through this extra class day customers can learn from new material provided by top industry experts. Bonus day topics - ranging from advanced desiccant technology and drying practices to advanced restorative drying techniques - will propel participants to the front of the restorative drying pack. Each bonus program uses real-life job scenarios to test restorers' knowledge, skills and creative thinking on the job.
"I've never been more excited about the schedule we have to offer. The new topics address industry needs brought on by the significant changes we've seen in the business over the last two years," said Brandon Burton, Technical Education Manager.
The new schedule offers a rich combination of hands-on application and theory, and the courses range from basic training through advanced theory. The calendar also includes several networking opportunities through activities outside the classroom, with golf outings available at each Dri-Eaz campus through the spring and summer. There's even a new five-day combined WRT (101) and ASD (201) course so customers can get their IICRC water certifications completed in just one week.
