Dri-Eaz offers more powerful, safer ozone generation

BURLINGTON, Washington - March 22, 2007 - Dri-Eaz has found another way to make the lives of restorers easier. With the new ozone generator Dri-Eaz is now offering a safer and more efficient way to remove difficult odors. The ActivO is a powerful deodorizing system with a double stage operating cycle that creates ozone and removes it, rapidly minimizing the time involved until it's safe for customers to immediately reoccupy treated spaces. Its patented technology quickly achieves a very high concentration of ozone then converts the ozone back into pure oxygen. The fully automated design tells users in advance how long a total treatment is going to take so they can plan their own and customers' time most efficiently.

With a maximum treatment time of 48 hours for removing the ozone, jobs will be safer, faster. "In most cases the complete ActivO process takes one-sixth of the time that other ozone generators would. It might take just four hours to remove odors from an area, while a less powerful ozone generator, without the ozone removal capability, could take as much as 24 hours," said John Ormsby, Dri-Eaz vice president of sales and marketing.

The ActivO will remove ozone and deodorize spaces without venting. When treating smaller rooms no airmovers are required to circulate ozone since the ActivO disperses ozone upward at 265 CFM to cover all surfaces of the affected room. It's highly portable with wheels for ease of transporting and the durable steel construction holds up to the rigors of any job.

It's so easy and safe to use that after securing an area, customers can simply set it and forget it. While in operation a bold flashing light provides a continuous alert that ozone is being generated - when the light goes off, the odor is gone…and so is the ozone.
